昨日、ついにキルギス日本人技師ら致事件が解決した。

Yesterday, the abduction case of a Japanese engineer from Kyrgyzstan was finally solved.
この事件で政府は武装勢力に身代金は払っていないと主張したが、数年後約3億円が支払われ、しかもその金は武装勢力には渡らずキルギス政府に着服されたと報道された。本当だとしたら、なんかB級映画みたいな話だ。
The government claimed that no ransom was paid to the terrorists, but it was reported that about 300 million yen was paid a few years later, and that the money was not given to the terrorists but was embezzled by the Kyrgyz government. If true, this story sounds like something out of a B-movie.
